This work was inspired by the attacks on Israel on October 7th 2024. A sadness for mankind’s failure to outgrow and heal from the violence of history to a truly peaceful world.
A piece of found tin with an arrow pointed right is mounted on a sky blue frame. From the top a gate form raises from the frame about 1 inch and holds two metal frame structures that support a small form over and in front of the tin. From this 3 white porcelain arms with white sleeves, stitched with gold and gold bead dangle freely. At the center of these dangles a chain with a small anatomical lead heart and a faded photo negative plate.
